Holy rain

Yoips. I'm home -- and soaked. I've never ridden through that much rain before... I think that getting home in one piece on a night like this counts as freaking heroism. I'll be accepting medals and appointments to the Order of Canada as soon as I've had a warm bath and a glass of port.

Speaking of heroism, I think that there's a case to be made for these two being heroes. Not because they're trying to escape serive in Iraq, but because they're showing us all that even in the strongest bastion of mindless automatonism, there are those with minds of their own and even a hint of morality.

Nice to see.

Of course, you take the good with the bad...
