Cars, news, and other irritants

Well, check it out. Apparently, kids who are exposed to violent TV and games are meaner. Well, d'uh. Sheesh, I don't believe people are paid to come up with this stuff...

Apparently, someone told the gods is was okay to make it hot again. fahk, I tell you, I'm tired of this. Too hot to walk outside, to hot to have sex or even snuzzle, I need icecubes. I need a pool. I need a pitcher of iced tea and a popsicle.

I think I may make some iced tea to-day.

Hm. David Collenette thinks that it's ridiculous that US truckers from the eastern US must go through downtown Montral on their way to other points. Part of his plan includes higher gas taxes to hel pay for re-jigging Canada's roads to ease up on urban congestion. I say that, if spouting truisms and laying on more taxes is all you need to become a Member of Parialment, then stand back. Here I come.

Okay, I'm just being bitchy. I like the idea of higher taxes for those who drive. I really do. I want fuel-cell cars or more hybrid vehicles on the road, and I want the petrol option to be expensive as hell. If higher gas prices push even just a few people to go for an insight or a Prius, then that's worth it.

Also, if there's less congestion in downtown Montral, then there's less chance of Luv getting killed while rollerblading to meet me somewhere... That's a plus, in my opinion.
