Hm. Let's see now. In their mad rush to become even *less* popular, the US bombed a Red Cross compound in Afghanistan. Mystie says their maps are prolly out-of-date, but I just think that, after destroying a village of civilians (which may *not* be true as Mr or Mrs 24.226.0.236, aka 'Nameless Coward,' has been so kind as to remind us), how else do you go to the next level?

On the home front, Ottawa has passed its anti-terrorism bill, giving the cops new powers that roughly equal tearing our rights out of our hands and crushing them under their oxfords. Oh, and just to show those bad guys we mean business on this whole terrorism thing, Qu�bec has appointed, as our rep in Algeria, a convicted former terrorist who drove a truckload of dynamite to NYC about 30 years ago as part of a plot by Qu�bec separatists and US crazies to blow up the Statue of Libery.

I tell you, I'm moving to Nunavut.
